What will LEC do for my school or education business?
LEC reviews all aspects of your education business, i.e., strategic / business plan, financials, curriculum, organizational chart, accreditation reports, marketing plan and products, and/or staff development plan. LEC accordingly provides an analysis of what is current for your education program and make written recommendations re: areas that need to be addressed for improvement.
LEC is available to provide consultation either on-site or by phone those areas that need improvement and work with the key individuals responsible for improvement in those areas. If specific training is required or recommended, LEC will advise and/or arrange such training. LEC has a variety of resources to offer specific assistance in a more comprehensive manner, if required.
LEC also provides support to programs or individuals who need on-going support for continued improvement and growth both on a personal career basis and for overall company / business development.
What is an Education Business Management Assessment™ (EBMA) and why should I complete one?
LEC asks that all schools and educational programs to complete an EBMA as a potential client in order to assist identification of specific improvement needs; note that not all aspects of a program need to be addressed. The assessment is designed to evaluate works and what isn’t working before determining what areas need to be addressed. By advance assessment with the EBMA, both the potential client and LEC are aware of the perceived strengths and weaknesses of a program to jumpstart the evaluation process.
An additional benefit of the EBMA is that there is oftentimes an individual, or group of individuals, within an educational system / program who have an intimate understanding of critical issues, but do not always have the tools to communicate that need to the “powers that be”. The EBMA provides the tool to convey objectively the potential challenges facing that organization.
The EBMA is the first place to start in creating a foundational base of awareness and understanding as the extent and possible impact of not addressing critical areas for the benefit of future business growth.
