advocates of themselves and their students. Carolyn's unique background
in for-profit management of schools, plus her hands-on training and
experience with accreditation of alternative educational programs, as
well as her education and background in college counseling and course
development allows for a very rich perspective of charter programs and
for-profit education industry. Coupled with her strong belief that education
should be managed from both a business and curriculum perspective, there
is no doubt that
Carolyn can help both
private and charter schools understand the importance that a strong
mission, a strong administration, and a strong sense of school will ensure sustained student success.
She earned her B.A. degree from St. Mary’s College of California in Moraga, California in 1988 and earned Master’s Degrees in Education Administration and Special Education from Chapman University in Orange County in 1994 and 1999 respectively.

Philosophy
Schools need to be run as a business– and a successful business at
that. The future of our children is riding on it.
It is crucial to understand how the financial stability of a school, or any educational institution, affects the quality of education. Too many schools / educational businesses fail to recognize the importance of having quality operational systems in place to manage the administration of the program. It doesn’t matter how “good” the education program is if the business is not managed properly. Proper financial management and a strong administrative program are imperative to the success of any education-related business.
Lindstrom Education Consulting (LEC) advises educational businesses in the implementation of the best systems to promote education programs. With
twenty years of direct experience in public and private education, LEC can provide “guidance” in how to establish, maintain and improve any educational programs’ business systems.
The motivation for LEC is to establish and promote quality education programs for all students – our mission is to make sure your business success is your student’s academic success.
